Our relationship With Joan (John) Carlos started in Brazil in 1993. Since then, Bread of Life has been a land mark for their lives and ministry, They have been abiding under the covering of Bread of Life through Bishop Phil's ministry. They planted a Church in Chicago called La Vinha (The Vine) which now has more than seven hundred members from 13 different nations (Bread of Life has part in it). Joan came from Chicago to Atlanta where he established Amid World Mission and planted the International Christian Church. This is the place Bishop Phil calls "little Brazil". Well, little Brazil now has two congregations under Bread: one Portuguese speaking with more than one hundred members and a Spanish speaking congregation with 72 members.
